Find Your People at Redeemer!
We hope that joining Summer Circles will be a way to help you move past the "acquaintance wall" and into new and meaningful friendships within our church.
Sign up by July 18th to participate.
Not a typical small group.
This summer, Redeemer Community Church is partnering with The Gathering Lab to launch Summer Circles. We love gathering in groups and hosting events at Redeemer, but we recognize they may not always provide the opportunity to build new and deeper friendships. Summer Circles are designed for those looking to make meaningful connections and friendships - for those looking for their people in this stage of life.If you are looking to go beyond casual acquaintances and find deeper friendships, this is for you.

Everyone is on the same page.
We know it can be challenging and time consuming to keep putting yourself out there at small groups, book clubs, or the gym - only to feel like others aren't looking for the same level of community and friendship you are.
For Summer Circles, we are hoping to bring together both men and women at Redeemer who are open and looking to build new friendships.
No more wondering, "Is this person open to making a new friend?" - each participant is ready to invest.

Shared values and interests.
C.S. Lewis once said that, “Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another, 'What! You too? I thought I was the only one.” Nothing beats that "me too!" feeling when getting to know a new group of friends. With Summer Circles, you will be matched with a small group of Redeemer men and/ or women who are your age and share your values and interests. These matches are based on an in-depth friendship questionnaire.
More than small talk.
Summer Circles are designed to help move beyond "small talk" and on to meaningful conversations. Our hope is that you would get to know your group on a deeper level. For each hangout, your circle will receive science-backed questions and connection activities, ranging from playful ("karaoke - love it or hate it?") to deeper ("what is something your 10-year old self would be proud of?"). The prompts will help you avoid the awkwardness of meeting new people and help your group get to know one another in a significant way.

Find your people!
Friendship is about deep community and belonging, yet we know it is becoming increasingly difficult to go beyond surface-level acquaintance to friendship, even at church.
The hope behind Summer Circles is that they will provide an opportunity to easily meet and build meaningful connections with others at Redeemer. By the end of your experience, our hope is that will have met people who can become lifelong friends.
How It Works
1. Secure your spot.
Sign up for a Summer Circle via the link below. You will submit your payment and confirm your availability. Once you sign up, you will receive an invitation to the Summer Circles Kick-off Party on August 3rd at Redeemer. You will also receive the friendship questionnaire that needs to be completed by Friday, July 18th.

2. Complete friendship questionnaire by July 18.
Take the 10-minute questionnaire provided by The Gathering Lab to learn more about you, your values, interests, friendship goals, preferences, and more. This will be used by The Gathering Lab to match you to a circle based on your age, values, and priorities.
3. Attend the Kick-Off Party on August 3!
This is the fun part! Begin your circle experience with an in-person social gathering facilitated by The Gathering Lab.
This will be a structured, joyful social experience to help you get to know your circle and other participants in an intentional way.

4. Meet with your circle.
The best friendships develop naturally, layer by layer. That isn't a coincidence - it's science! With Summer Circles, you will go on a guided journey with your circle based on the science of how friendships are formed. From August - September, you will gather for two dinners where you will receive instructions and prompts to help you go beyond the typical surface-level chit chat to the stuff that matters.
